In Bucovina people are industrious and deft; they have a sort of unrest that pushes them to do more. An investor who loves the place of his childhood felt he could do more for the community. So he started a business and treated the factory he built like his own larger family. He has offered 160 expedient jobs for the villagers of Vicovu de Jos. In return, they have taken their work so seriously as if it were for their own household.

Agdesy grows every year and keeps a pace that has already exceeded expectations several times. We have started in 1998, from nothing. After 10 years, Agdesy tells through his voice a story of success. "We were not taking over something that had been already built, we had no infrastructure and few machines. Nonetheless we had energy, local tradition to inspire us and a dream that we believed: to become the most appreciated military footwear producer in Romania".

At its best, production may reach 1200 pairs of boots per day. People's attitude makes the difference. "If you do the job, you better do it well" they say. And there is another saying that goes about the factory: "Use your hands, so that the feet don't get hurt!" The workers have their own way of being proud that thousands of soldiers step on their work everyday. It is important that they step safely.

Agdesy produces military footwear for Romanian and international parteners. The company has built a durable relationship with prestigious Romanian parteners, such as the Romanian Gendarmerie, the National Inspectorate for Emergency Situations or the Ministry of Defense. In 2008 Agdesy obtained the highest quality certification, which recommends it as military shoes producer for NATO members.

The timely main objectives of the company are the qualitative development of its products and economic growth. Agdesy has a reputation that we wish to highten with every boot we make. The fabrication process strictly observes the standard or customized technical specifications. In its journey from being a piece of leather ready to enter the bender, to the soldier's foot, the boot marches through 100 pairs of attentive and skilful hands.
